The day nobody likes

Let's talk about Tuesdays. Poor Tuesday. Nobody's favourite day.

Friday gets all the attention. Saturday gets all the bookings.
Tuesday is just sitting there hoping somebody remembers it exists.

And that is exactly why I find Tuesdays interesting.

If people are showing up on a random Tuesday evening, something is really really working.
Quieter periods? Lets adjust prices, come up with an offer, or make some other random noise. Which make total sense. Or not.

I have a thing for that day though. Its a magic day. Why? When everything works on a shitty tuesday, you have done something great.
Instead of adjusting pricing, you have managed to increase desire.
A place people genuinely want to visit. Even though its just before said shitty Tuesday.

Not because it is convenient. Not because of a discount. Not because they received a newsletter with seventeen exclamation marks.
Because they love being there. That changes everything. When people choose a place for the feeling it gives them, they stop comparing quite so much.

They stop asking where it is cheapest. They stop looking for alternatives. They simply want your place. And this is where interiors become very interesting.

A strong concept can make a completely ordinary evening feel special.

A little magic. A little glow. A little sparkle.

Enough to make someone think, let's go there. Again and again.
And once people start returning, they start talking. And people remember what the Anna/John/Ibrahim/Stigs of the world is saying.

The talking becomes recommendations.
The recommendations become bookings. The bookings become revenue.
I know. Very unromantic ending. Talking money.

But look at this:

1: The magic creates memory.

2: Memory creates conversation.

3: Conversation creates demand.

4: Demand creates revenue.

This is why I will happily talk about colour palettes, and shapes and details for hours. Its cash incoming if you will.

Because sometimes a stronger concept is not just making a room prettier. Sometimes it is making the business stronger.
And that my friends, is considerably more exciting.
